| Just seeing if anyone else heard about Sony making a wii remote like controller for the Playstation 3.Personally I for one think it`s a great idea for the PS3.I meen the ps3 has Graphics and more motion sensing.What else can you ask for.Explain your thoughts. |

I second both of The Extremist's statements.
First, if Sony is going to make that, they are going to have a tough legal fight with Nintendo.
Second, There's not much of a point to do so. If they ever do, it's too late already. I don't say it wouldn't be nice, but, it's just not going to work at this point.
and Third, it's not much of a challenge to use an actual wiimote on other devices. Wiimotes are Bluetooth devices, right? I't just a matter of writting a driver and games to use it. There are several for PC already.
Does the PS3 have bluetooth? I'm not sure, but it's more than likely that it does. |

That would help Sony in long run. They have always copied Nintendo, and like making analog controller for PSX, when they discovered the advantages of it, helped PSX. So like same that would maybe pump up the sales of PS3 also, but only when they would get some good games for it.
Also the rumors of PSP2, with touch screen is a great "new idea" from them, that would help on the long run also. |

Well if it makes P3 sell more then why not? By the way the wii is not anything special with its own type of controller.

| I think sony stated that their is supposed to be a price-cut for the Playstation 3 Between March an April of 2010. |

There have made a "Wand" that is controlled by the PS3's Sixaxis and PS3 eyetoy Cam. It has only one trigger (for weapons and other things that need it) and is motion sensored (Xbox did practically the same thing only without the controller, just some new camera)
