Hi I was trying to make a video in Windows Movie Maker and when I try to save it, the saving stops at 49%, and it says cannot find the saving directory. Also it says files may be missing. This is not so, I checked. I spent 2 Hours working on the thing! PLEASE TELL ME I WILL NOT HAVE TO START OVER. Very frustrating problem. Please help.

Unfortunately, I've never used Windows Movie Maker.
Hopefully someone else here has, and knows what to do. Smile

you have moved some of the clips afterwards, you must put them back in same folder, as they used to be

he wouldnt have done that during saving

What he means is that you moved the imported video/picture/audio files during saving

I mean, you have saved the "project file" first, right?
Later, when you tried to save the actual movie, the original files in the project have been altered/changed someway, probably just in different folder.

Well I have solved the problem. Apparently a certain video in the project had been moved, or was not completely codec compatible with movie maker. I had to convert it to a different format that would work completely with it. It's cool now. thanks.
