I've always preferred luring Jaws to the stairs, it's faster because you can get a lot of headshots and he can't shoot you unless you're in front of him. I never had much luck crouching under him, he always seems to hit me anyway.

Control for sure. The part where you hafta protect Natalya is very hard cuz you need to react really quickly. Those guards that break the glass to shoot Natalya have messed me up many times. Mad Aztec came in a close 2nd cuz of those annoying guards.

Jaws isn't hard though; I don't crouch under him, I stand as close to him as possible and blast his head w/ the AR33. When his Body Armour wears away I throw a grenade at him.

Aztec all the way. Even on Agent it's a problem.

3 reasons: AR33's, Jaws, and drone guns.

I've beaten it on Secret Agent (and within the target time), but I've never even attempted it on 00 Agent...

Control is a close second, mainly because it's so big, but also because of the Natalya segment.

Cradle is third. The amount of guards and their long range plus the occasional grenade makes it quite irritating.

The poll is very accurate. Cool

PS. Lately I can't play because my video card died so I had to use the crappy motherboard one.

I'd say Aztec, Extremely difficult, Have to be fast and slick, Shoot or run situation, wait too long and you'll die, especially after you kill Jaws and guards with lasers come after you. I beat it once and barely survived.

Train is pretty hard, and Depot is easy, Get the rocket launcher from that other place and destroy the machine gun, or do something else.

Haha I upgraded, I have a thread about it... just basically nvidia 8600GT 256MB and 2GB of ram... still same cpu intel p4 3.20ghz.. later on I'm upgrading to a quad 2.4ghz.. that'd triple preformance Very Happy

What your problem here is lets first start off with Aztec. AR33's are quite difficult to conquer but here is the solution: I always found out that it was very handy to take cover and let them fire once at you then you bullrush them quickly and shoot the Moonrankers in the head (I call this the cover and shoot technique). The second problem what else makes Aztec hard is Jaws; we all know he is hard to beat yes? But I found out the Moonranker guards are very grenade happy. Collect as many grenades as you can then you use the grenades against him! Before you take Jaws head on try throwing the grenades underneath his legs (this will cause great damage). After your done throwing grenades at him you get behind him, crouch and take him on! Keep staying underneath him and first use your AR33 against him until all the ammo has run out. Pull out your laser and try to hit him in the head. Before you face Jaws lets talk about the drone guns. Before you enter the launch shuttle room, creep up very slowly to the vent and zoom in with your AR33 until you see the tip of the gun of the drone gun. Take it out and carefully go through the vent and take cover behind the metal crates. Their is a drone gun next to your right so back up a little bit (not too much because the drone guns behind the glass will fire at you) until you see the camra of the drone gun. Take it out and crouch and crawl over to the metal crates away from you. Take cover behind the one that is nearest to the ladder (the drone gun cannot see you) and fire at the drone gun. I believe you can hit the left one too but I'll check it out as soon as I go home. So thier is my simplist step by steps of how to defeat the most difficult parts of Aztec. Extremist try to beat Aztec on OOAgent! Give it a shot at least! Control and Cradel I will talk about later.

I'd better chime in here. Aztec and Control are pretty close. Control is probably the hardest level in the game. It takes a little too long to protect her to call it easy. At least with the Aztec you can go at your own pace.

The hardest level on GoldenEye is actually any level when you set enemy accuracy/reaction/damage/health all to 1,000%

How's that for a challenge? Mr. Green

Facility, all enemy stats maxed, level completed. 46 minutes. Great video, I watched the whole thing.

But anyway, I always found Control the hardest, because of the Natalya part. That followed by Aztec.

Aztec and Control are the toughest two on 00 agent. I give the nod to control because there are way more ways to mess it up and die unexpectedly. With Aztec you can cruise through it if you know what to do. Control has so many variables, especially with infinite regenerating gurards.

After getting back into GE Cradle has been the most frustrating for me so far. The ever respawning guards with evil guns and stupid nades (from Alec?) has caused me the most distress so far. Train was hard but fun. Control seemed big at first but isn't so bad and the protect Natalia might be annoying but I think it is fine with something different. And after watching Clemens run of Control I knew what I had too do and just did it slowly, a bit over 6 mins slower Smile
I still need to do Caverns and Aztec (secret + 00) and ofc Egyptian so don't know about those yet.
About Cradle, how do you get Alec "trapped" or to go down to platform quick or get a nade out of a guard? I had trouble with Alec not wanting to go to platform when I had some good runs where I didn't get ambushed by 6 guards from .... Is it about damage dealt to Alec?

Yeah, you'll need to inflict so much damage on him in order for his actions to change over. Once he's taken enough of a beating, he'll tell you to finish the job... if you can, and run down to the bottom-most room. The best bet is to keep nailing him with headshots, and hope that the spawning bodyguards don't sneak up on you. Those special forces members will just keep coming, no matter what. Firing quickly over the railings is a good way to drain Trevelyan's health.

Beaten the game now ;P woohoo Smile 10 years or so after I got it Very Happy
I must say that Cradle was the hardest for me on OOA. Aztec was tough and I even tried dieing in the 1st room, but when things went smoothly Jaws was the hardest part because if he gave you a lot of damage then 1 or 2 laser beams would kill me.
