You know, I can't help but wonder if this is why Nintendo was uncooperative about the XBLA release of GoldenEye. I had no idea a higher-up like Miyamoto was involved in the game's development. I never knew that he was into FPS's either. That explains why he convinced Retro Studios to convert Metroid Prime from a hard to control third person game to a first person game with excellent controls (a brilliant move). Now we just need a first person Zelda game... |
Not sure what his role was in the game. Probably not in the technical area.
I've just googled a bit and saw some comment somewhere saying that he appears in the game's credits. It may be good to take a look at them to see what comes out.

I just took a look at the credits' text file and he's not listed. Thanks for the interview link though, that was a great read. A shame OoT wasn't first person, I would've found it a lot more fun if it was, and it probably could've turned a lot of people onto the genre. |

tried with the name and surname in separate searches?
or maybe he's listed as "Miyahon", a bad transliteration of the kanjis of his name that were used for a time in many games' english translation's credits. |

No "Miyahon" either. Here's the full file, if you'd like to take a look, maybe he's listed under an alias or something:

A few of those are unused, which should probably be added to the prerelease cuban jungle credits page over on the wiki. |
