That episode actually won the 2007 award for outstanding animated film. Its basicly saying, as wildly addicting as that (and other games) can be, video games are still video games. There's a whole new social trend of your popularity being based on your internet status, and it's pretty gay.
People think they have the right to abuse other people, and do things they normally would never do because of the anonymity.
Have your games, but have REAL relationships too.
