I can't claim to know much about them, but I've had one before. I realized it was a dream as I hung out the side window of the car window and praised that school was finally out.. As I rode I realized school had been out for several weeks, and that this had to be a dream. (this was 7th grade)

A few weeks before my stepdad had told me of the strange phenomenon, where the dreamer (should he realize he was in a dream) would have full control of his environment.

I didn't do anything particularly spectacular, beyond attempting to fly and floating slowly back to the ground, crushing a car by snapping my fingers and restoring it to new with the same action, and making my eyeballs pop out of my head (strangely, in a very similar way to Judge Doom in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit")

The dream ended as I told them that they were all in a dream and someone shouted something that was indistinguishable to me as I awoke..

It was a fun experience.. Unfortunatly, had I been smarter it probably would have been an X rated dream, but I was caught up in the moment.. Lol..
