I seem to be having a bit of a problem with Goldeneye on Project 64; the game has a tendency to crash at random intervals during gameplay. I am using the default settings within Jabo 1.6 and have no cheats enabled... Could somebody help me? |

By default settings you mean they are on Default or the ones that Goldeneye should use.
Maybe someone else can tell you of the settings. _________________ Also known as Spyster or Nyxem

Does it crash or does it just freeze up? _________________

Yeah, I know. Happens very very frequently. Usually it's caused by GameShark cheats. _________________

I'm using Jabo 1.6; and by the way, this happens regardless of cheats being active or not. |

Well, it does happen frequently. Check how much RAM you have when you start it up, because that determines about 75% [Other 25% is GPU] of your FPS. _________________

Sorry for the hiatus, I was away on a church trip; in regards to plug-ins, I'm using Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6 for graphics, Jabo's DirectSound 1.6 for sound, and DirectInput 1.6 as the (input) controller plugin... In case I didn't mention it, I'm also using version 1.6 of Project 64 |

for the record the only way to play multi goldeneye online is with mupen......unless there has been some drastic changes since ive been gone but i highly doubt it.... check out gemasters site goldeneyeonline.com that should answer your questions.... pj64k fails when trying to play online....and so does 1964....you need to use jabos 3D8 for your plugin and you should go to goldeneyeonline.com and read the WHOLE SITE then you will know how to play online without desynch issues |
