so i downloaded the storage facility map and in the folder there is an .ips file and then theres a folder named "individual". I need help with goldeneye editor on how to get this to work. And im really noobish with this sorta stuff so please make it pretty detailed on how to do this, my goldeneye rom is not in a winrar archive but just by itself as .z64 |

You can leave the induvidual stuff out.
All you need to do is apply ips patch.
Get the rom
The IPS Patch
Then save it as a .rom _________________ Also known as Spyster or Nyxem

once i apply ips patch i try to load rom it says file loaded does not appear to be a valid nintendo 64 rom. verify your roms with goodn64 |

Ok so I downloaded the how to ips tutorial, followed it carefully and it could run but the map wouldnt show up. could someone maybe please be so nice to post a detailed tutorial ? |

Hm if you mean you have the game working but ones you play the level it dus not load. if thats the problem then just go from full screen to small screen and then wat and go back to full screen agan and see if that works out. _________________ There totally nothing to read here. |

hmm that didnt work..the map im trying to get to work is irish caverns, i followed the ips tutorial and now i have a irish caverns.rom file in my roms folder |

I would never think that doing this would be so difficult. I dont see what im doing wrong on that tutorial. i really want these GE maps to work...and i also want xdelta perfect dark maps to work |

I'm not entirely sure why this is not working for you.. It is a very simple process indeed... Make sure your ROM's have the correct file extension? It should just go through. _________________

I prefer Project 64, but applying the IPS patch has nothing to do with the Emulator I'm sure. _________________
