It FINALLY came. After 6 days of non-patient waiting!

Really cool card. I popped it in, and played a few games.

Counter Strike: Source on Highest - 30 Frames Average
Counter Strike: Source on Lowest - 60 Frames Average
Garry's Mod on Highest - Guessing at least 40 - 50 frames average
Team Fortress 2 on Highest - 30 - 40 frames average
Company of Heroes on Ultra - 20 - 30 frames average
Medal of Honor Beta on Medium - 20 - 40 frames average
[Medium looks like highest, which is sweet.]
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on High - 20 - 30 frames average
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on High - 50 - 60 frames average
World of Warcraft - Low - 60 frames solid
World of Warcraft - Good - 30 - 40 frames average
World of Warcraft - High - 30 frames solid
World of Warcraft - Ultra - 10 - 20 frames average

And I get 61 Frames average for Perfect Dark. Hehe. Not an official game, but it's still fun to play around on.

Anyways, overall, I love this card to death. Insane upgrade over my Onboard card.

Oh, and today is Particle Cannon member, scubamcd's birthday. So once we fix the mySQL error, we will prepare a bit of a "happy birthday" post for him.

Oh and just an FYI, you may want to reconsider buying MW2. I've heard rumors and seen screenshots that it is just a port of the Xbox 360 version. Such as Xbox Live error messages showing up and internal development file names saying "xbox" in them. As well as a lack of dedicated servers. But of course, it's you're decision, I just thought you should know.

I have tons of RAM.

And the only reason I'm getting 30 frames is because of those damn bots.

They take up like 5 frames per person. On a live game, with REAL people, I get 50 average.

And yes, MW2 is already downloaded. I considered it.

That sadly is case in many new multiplatform games when they're ported to PC you can see game hints with xbox controller button during loading screens and stuff like that.

Yeah, Resident Evil 4 is probably the worst. Or perhaps, Silent Hill. Both of which were terribly ported. RE4 doesn't even have mouse control for PC.
