Rily becuse it seems to open up a web page faster then Google Chrome we even cout to see wich one is faster and IE is 3 secs faster then Google Chrome. We even put it to the test to see wich one is fast to load Super Mario Flash and IE wins by 1 sec.

Heh, I'm only using Firefox because my IE runs into an error that I can't seem to fix whenever it loads up. Maybe I was just ignorant to it, but I didn't really notice any change in speed or quality during the transition.

IE is probably the worse browser out there. Microsoft advertises that it is the most widely used browser, but that's only because it comes with every Windows OS.

LOL Well, firefox take up just about as much ram to run as IE, so I don't think you'll see a difference. [About 200,000K for each, while chrome runs at no more than 30,000K, saving you about 300 MB]

IE takes 40k, not 400k

K as in bytes, not thousands LOL, by god, that's a lot.

IE takes about 400,000 to run, and it's VERY slow :/

Interesting... so it differs from computer from computer...

I used to use IE exclusively... only because I seriously didn't know there were any others. X.X Then my brother, who knows programing, gets me google chrome...

I don't mean to spam or anything, but just as an example, this page (which is full of spam because its in the daily spam thread) loads within seconds for me in chrome.

http://gotchaforcefan.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=spam&action=display&thread=401&page=54

so... ... nothing else that I can comment on really. Signing out-of this topic, anyways.

Wreck you maybe haveing the same problem i had. If you rite click on IE before opening it. click on Browse without Add-on it may load up then.
Then rite click the butten that will show up on the upper screan and click Manage Add-ons. Then turn off all of them and start up IE normaly and see if that fix your problem. But wat you cant wach Vids and stuff so go back to Manage Add-ons and turn on one theng at a time one of them may be makeing your IE not start up.

Chrome's fast, especially for flash and java, both of which can be pretty annoying in other browsers. I still prefer to use Firefox (which is probably the slowest out of everything out now) only because it's extensions are more powerful. You can't write an actual ad or script blocker for Chrome, so the ones out there now still let the browser download all of that garbage, they just don't render it. What's the point? Any malicious content is still going to get through, which is the primary reason I use them. Getting rid of annoying banners and such is just a side benefit for me.
