i have not played it for a while now , but it has evolved a bit much
since the last time i used it -

maybe one or two of you here have done something for it

i hope to sometime get the chance to play it online (with my n64 controller)

ONe interesting thing -
it seems that Killer instinct characters and Backgrounds are very hard to
"RIP"

then there is the whole matter of replicating all the animations and program all the combos in as best as possible.

i would play it more and for some reason this is the only game i have had no chance to play with other people because of what it needs to run -
and did not have decent pc controllers for a long time -

Another weird thing -
I have not knowledge if there is a James Bond - Duke Nukem or Joanna Dark character out there yet. and even if there are they might be hard to get...

Its not really 3d -

its more like a movie that is controlled by the character's movements.

kind of like this old Dracula game for the sega cd:

move the slider at bottom and you control the point of view -
KIller instinct arcade used this method too , and some layers also had animation frames for up and down motions -
somewhere out there there are flash animations of objects that you can see from different angles by moving the mouse- not just left and right.

i don't know how old that "DAM level " is
but i think that thanks to the GE editor the MUGEN folks can create an even better dam level where the scrolling frames display the actual dam itself
(i guess by putting a floating platform with a nice view of the dam and record the frames of left and right strafing)
