I finally went out and bought an N64. I've been on this site for two years now without a gaming system (well, besides the 360 that died a few months after I bought it.. RIP).
I bought a standard system, the expansion pack, four controllers and a grip of games.
Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Mario Party, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, Turok, and both Zelda's.. I'm still trying to find Mario Kart and Super Smash bro's..
Any amazing game suggestions would be appreciated.. _________________ "Inspiration strikes but once.. If you're forgetful, carry a pen." -Me |

I still think that the N64 is one of the best consoles ever created. The unique controller definitely had something to do with it. But there were a lot of really well designed games that were released, regardless of what kind of joystick would've been used for them.
It sounds like you've already scored a great line-up of games, and are hoping to collect a few other greats. Not sure if you're into racing games, but I always enjoyed "Beetle Adventure Racing". It had loads of exploration possibilities. The "Banjo-Kazooie" games are both terrific, and "Donkey Kong 64" was enjoyable. Pretty much anything made by Rare is classic. _________________

I'll definately keep an eye out for 'Rare' games. I'd seen DK 64 at the store but I held off on getting it.
I started playing the first Zelda though, it's an amazingly designed game, I'm lovin it! (TM McDonalds?) lol
And I've heard nothing but great reviews about Banjo Kazooie, so Ill definately pick that up on my next trip. Thanks _________________ "Inspiration strikes but once.. If you're forgetful, carry a pen." -Me |

One of the best fighter games ever made:
MACE the dark age, can be fun with friends. Lot's of hidden characters, unique combo system and good graphics.
Fast and fun Racing games:
World Racing Championship, this game was made by those, who created Gran Turismo, this one is actually better. There are slow cars at the beginning, but it is one of the best looking games for N64, and still runs very fast at the last cars.
Also RUSH2: Extreme Racing America is probably one of the most played games on my system, great with friends.
Automobili Lamborghini is also good, likewise Ridge Racer64
Polaris Snow Cross is great racing game also.
And yeah, WaveRace of course, looks amazing.
If you enjoy company of your friends, Wayne Gretzkys 3D hockey '98 is a BLAST with 4 players, even if you don't like hockey (I don't but I had to buy this game, after testing it with my friends in arcade, and on N64 it is even better (multi only)
Quake 2 and the later Turok games (2 and rage wars) are great multi shooters
Rampage2 is great with friends again
Blast Corps from RARE is awesome game.
Doom64 is the best doom game ever made.
F1 World grand prix (1 and 2) were the best and most ralistic Formula1 games at a time, still fun to play.
StarFox64 is must.
Mission Impossible is great agent story, close to Goldeneye (NOT Goldeneye, but close I said)
Rainbow Six is fun with Co-Operative
Ocarina of Time had that "Master Quest"-version also, don't forget it.
There are tons of other great games, but these are those I have enjoyed most (if you don't count PD or GE of course)

I actually used to own this game. I always thought pausing it and checkin out the lambo with the PTZ camera system was pretty cool ..but other than that it didnt really have much more to offer then its competitors.. _________________ "Inspiration strikes but once..
