Yes, this is true my friends.
The generic shooter has a Goldeneye reference.
If you have played it or the map packs of Call of Duty 5, you would have noticed a "Pack-A-Punch" machine which upgrades your gun in the mode Zombies.
In Black Ops, the Spectre (What the Phantom was based off in goldeneye) makes an appreance, and its pack-a-punched name is the Phantom.
Little homage to Goldeneye from 3ARC.

| It could just be a coincidence, specter and phantom are pretty much synonymous. I guess you'd never prove it one way or the other without some sort of official word on it though. |

He would need to get the Spectre from the Mystery Box, then get to the Pack-A-Punch room and spend 5000 points (1000 during a bonfire sale)
