Been working few days with this one.
I'm planning to build exact copy of Carrington Villa in Minecraft (exact meaning as close as possible ). The building is now ready, but it is still missing decent lightsources and all the furniture. There is still most of the surroundings missing, like the caves, the telescope thingy and the roof of the building.

I guess this will be ready in a week or so, I also have to redo some walls and change to better block when I make 'em, at this point the Villa is made almost entirely from wood, and thats no good.

I just want to share some pics with you now, and those who have played Perfect Dark a lot might recognise few of these places (don't mind the torches on the walls, they will be gone later). Remember that this is very early "beta"-version, not even close to be ready, so bare with me.

New ideas are welcome also. When this is ready, I can share it with those who are interested. Videos coming later too, hopefully with PD music.

This is the "kitchen area" where you can see to the ground floor. No furniture or anything yet. Behind me are the little stairs.


Here is the "bedroom", the bathroom is the small room with brick floor. Lots of job here to do, just trying to figure out the room layout first.


Outside stairs to kitchen, behind me is the pier. The Villa is mostly wooden still, so it looks quite terrible.


View from the pier, where you start on Perfect Agent. The Villa doesn't have roof yet, so it looks strange. You can get ecxellent sunrise view to the sea.


The stairs that lead to the wine cellar and the pool area.


And there is the pool room, the windows to the sea are behind me. This room is still empty too.

Very nice job there, I'd say it would be great fun making a PD campaign level from minecraft, also what makes it look good is that minecraft looks like cheap material used to construct things which suits an older game better like PD. But minecraft is almost like a very old gmod to me, I understand minecraft it must be easier to create things, but in gmod thats what you do really, dl tons of stuff and mess around with things, spawn npcs, a whole bunch of crazy stuff, anyway looks like good fun, wish u gl with finishing it !

Looking pretty good, Fantsu. I could recognize most of the areas well, even without any descriptions. I'm not familiar with "Minecraft", though. I may have to look it up and see what it is. Anyway, good work with this, and keep us updated with your progress.

You(Fantsu) should get a texture pack, I know one where you can customise the contents using their customiser.

Haven't been playing this world after Beta came out, now that there is new blocks and everything, the villa could be done much more accurate way.

I probably will work with it later still.
