hehe
this is pretty muchthe same as the Goldneye one....
Now that it looks like that n64 games can be re-made to
be 3 dimentional:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2A_1IDwX0Cw
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WFM3G5FTbk&feature=related
This makes my ocarina of time stereograms obsolete
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUXQOlRpsQo
I think that a petition or similar should be made
for the Nintendo company to release a
3 dimentional Pefect Dark.
I and others since 2004 thought that the n64 could use the split screens to run the game in some kind of stereo vision mode,
Especially Perfect Dark, since the stereo vision mode is pretty much there if the cooperative mode was reprogrammed....
but now with the 3ds i think that the best thing is for the game to come out official in 3d -
I know the emulator can do it with special graphic cards and the glasses -
but to have Pefect Dark in the 3ds would have many advantages
that the original game did not have.
portable, online gameplay, wireless multiplayer, etc.
and of course later on the chance to plug the 3ds to a big 3d tv is also there
(for me , the only real chance in the years to come to play 3d games is with the 3ds machine)
that or i catch a leprechaun and buy things

No - i have a pair of steroscopic viewers that can help you cross your eyes with tiny side by side images -
back in the goldeneye days i had to use a mirror with one of the images inverted.
the youtube links have the options for you to do that i think....
its called mirror split,
you put a mirror in the middle of the pics and your eyes, then make the images "merge" - the image in the mirror to the one of the -example - right side until you get depth perception.
NOTE:
NO need for glasses - go to the 3D button at the bottom right and choose
no glasses - Then you can choose Crosseyed or the Mirror split option to see the images (you will need a mirror)
The videos Invert the Left image and the right image at the middle point -
you have to pause the video and move the red bar to more than half the middle on some to get the LEFT image on the left and the RIGHT image on the right |

i think the banjo n64 games are inevitable....
even if not in the 3ds, the xbla versions will do -
the xbox machine for the next generation i think will have 3d tv compatibility.
if that is the case the games will probably run in stereo mode thanks to graphic processor tricks.
of course 3DS version would be best in the short term because there is no need for spending money on 3d tvs and glasses.

Haha , weel it looks like you can see those magic eye things too-
i can never do it.
If you want to make some all you need is to run the n64 or the emulator,
and strafe a little to the right or left with the analogue and take a picture
Remember this rule even if it sounds stupid:
Left eye has things on the left side that the right eye does not
Right eye has things on the right side that the left does not
i sent those pictures to Ñ and he turned in to videos, that way youtube takes care of the different 3d modes that exist
interlaced, red blue, parallel (for samsung tvs) |

red bar?
on the game?
I forgot to mention that you have to turn off any crosshairs and things on screen for clean views ..
they can be there but they will look like ghost things.
Ñ is our youtube friend that allows to Bend Ollllo's NO youtubes rule
(his rule for just him -heh -he -he) |

Ok.
Now what about videos, how to make the videos side-by side if I make one?
I made a very very quick one.
Put one picture, uploaded it to YouTube, filled in all the tags.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9P323wBpz4&feature=player_embedded
And I get complete garbage. _________________

for the videos
try using Gimp or photoshop- put the pics side by side and save the result -
then using windows movie maker make a high definition movie for about 10 seconds -
make sure the size of the picture is the size for high def 1440 x something
Or 1280 x something
i uploaded the videos 4 times because something is weird that it flips the videos, that is why they change at the half points
Still - i think Ñ used vegas or aftereffects for the star fox thing, because he mentioned compositing - but he told me that uploading the videos to youtube is the same.
I'll ask in the next days |
