The glory days are a distant memory for Rare. It's crappy to lose your job for sure, but I think the video game industry is like that. Up and down.
Rare was a real slow demise. They lost their core talent obviously. It's like the Rolling Stones. They lose a couple pieces are they the greatest anymore? Highly doubtful. I still hold Rare in high regard. They produced to me, the greatest 2 shooter games ever. |

Yea Rare is in ruins now. It would be a miracle to see a nostalgic feeling Rare game that gets released to the market now a days. Rare has a glorious past, but is also looking to the future. Maybe they still do have something up their sleeve...who knows! All I know is that Rare practically created the fun I had during my childhood, for that they will always have my respect.

| Hopefully if rare does collapse another company will pick up some of their amazing series of games. |
