I'm looking for a somewhat complete list of Midway and/or Atari games for the N64. Pretty sure they all use the same compression, since at least three do. Anyone have one?

(First person to say Google does so at their own risk.)

I know there is many, and most of those are actually my favorites, like Doom64, Rush-series (mostly Rush 2 and the first one), Mace the Dark Age (easily the best fighter for N64), Wayne Gretzky hockey (fun with 3 friends) and of course World Driver Championship.

World Driver Championship is probably the most underrated game of all the time, it was a driving game made by the same guys that makes the Gran Turismo-series. It even has strong influence from that game. Quite realistic, great graphics and superb driving model. 2-player fight was good and it had tons of cars. Usually people didn't realise how big the game was, and never even didn't see the GT1 series (you had to drive with VERY SLOW cars in the beginning, just like in GT). Shame that it still can't be emulated, 'cause I don't have my copy of N64 anymore, one guy worked on the video plugin for it, but it still doesn't work very well.

Cruis'n USA - lot of people hate it; I liked it
Cruis'n World - Laughing
NBA Hangtime - best NBA game ever!
NBA Showtime - too many bugs
Gauntlet Legends - fun stuff
Cruis'n Exotica - OMFGod! Way too many glitches!
All Those NFL Blitz Games - yeah, they were alright

Oh yeah, World Driver Championship, like most driving games, has an evil unique microcode. These tended to clip things at the edge of the screen or anything that would span out of it for a performance boost. Will eventually document it.

What's really fun is this is a partial list of companies all related to Atari--at that time. Between them, the ones with ! are ones already known to recycle compression. This is the biggest reason those lists just aren't very helpful.

!Bally
!Midway
!Atari
!GT Interactive
!Infogrames
id software
WizardWorks
FormGen
Humongous Entertainment
Microprose
Accolade
Gremlin
Legend
Shiny
Cryptic Studios
Eden Games
Spectum Holobyte
!Avalanche (as independant) rampage2
!V-Rally via Eden

Thankfully some are just Eurocom ports.
