Has anyone had one of these happen to them before? Basically what happens is when you get super relaxed to the point where you feel weightless, you feel like you are actually projecting or floating out of your body a few feet above yourself. They are very weird and bizarre experiences and usually fun. Some of you probably think I sound crazy and I know I do, but I'm just wondering if anyone has ever experienced one of these. If you have, please describe it as accurately as possible.

Hmm.. Not really... 'out of body' experiences... but sometimes when you lay down in your bed and get comfortable really fast you get like a billion muscle spasm's which confuses your brain into think your falling.

But as far as what you said goes.... Not that I know of.

Probably just at an extreme point of relaxation.

If you smoke or inhale enough marijuana, you may or may not receive this sensation. It depends on how potent the marijuana was and whether or not it was your first time inhaling it. If it is your first time and the weed is *EXTREMELY GOOD* you will probably have a mind-blowing experience, and I mean *MIND-BLOWING* in *LITERAL* sense! Take the phrase "mind-blowing" very literally. You will feel like your mind or consciousness has expanded out of you in all directions if you're very high. Another way to interpret this sensation is that a person's non-physical senses are unlocked and the senses of one's own physical body are amplified.

I thought it was either that you had expanded or that you had an increased awareness of everything around you. You know how our bodies have five senses that allow us to perceive the physical world we live in? Well honestly, smoking weed has helped me realize that our existence after death is probably true. I think there is an afterlife, but it means that we would all just be pure consciousness because we wouldn't have our bodies for our conscious minds (or souls) to live in. This is very strange. Imagine yourself floating around weightlessly when you're dead because you are disembodied/unincarnated. You try to look down at yourself only to find that you're not even there. It would be the same as on Perfect Dark and GoldenEye when you look down at your feet, but nothing is shown.

All of this is theory and conjecture...

I'd prefer it if we didn't discuss drug use on the forum. I understand how you're trying to make a connection to the original topic, but it doesn't sit well with our family-friendly message board. Thanks.
