You know im woundering,we do have so much people here making new levels or discovering new things or even just paying attention to anything new.
I wounder what Brought us to start these new levels hacks modes whatever you would like to call it.
Me what Brought me here was the unique new level of Island. It just stunned me. From that day on began learning about the editor and the many things it can do. As time went on I got the editor began playing and building knoledge of it.
And im still learning! _________________ www.youtube.com/gamerrey23 |

Ah... My hacking started back in 2009. I always wanted to make my own world and maps and what not. So I went online and started looking for such thing. And I found Goldeneye level changer codes. That changes the levels though out the game, Like props weapons and what not. then I saw Goldeneye Vault website. I click it and look at it and notice that these are completely brand new levels in the game. And so I decided to pick up an emulator and play the game on my computer. Get used to it and what not. Once I learn how to play I downloaded the Goldeneye Editor so I can patch the levels onto a Rom. And make it playable. And after playing that complex mission. It gave me the feeling of making levels for the game. So I read for days none stop and getting used to the editor it self. Took time but well worth it in the end. And that when I release that snow level called The Game. And that Streets level called New York and the jungle level. Anyway then after I release the levels I join here in hope to learn more about the game. And to help others once I learn how to get used to the editor. After almost 3 years of being here. And mapping for 2 years. I've learned a lot on how to make levels and how to code things. But yeah what keeps me here is that all the friendly people here who I am friends with keeps me posting here. And it always give me the good feeling when I help someone in need when it comes to making a level. _________________ There totally nothing to read here. |

Rey, personally after a decade of operating Windoze, the variety + fun factor is nuts.
Either you mod games, or you simply download. With at least handing out a "congrats".
That mutual respect is always there, we stay sharin the web, either promoting skills / delivering, or passing on knowledge
Da innanet.. we all in this togetha mane
I've been emulating ever since '03, my boy down them streets told me to grab PJ64 v1.6
Since then, anything emulated intrigues me. Rock your games on to several systems ? Modify em..!?
Amazing. Eternal, your GE007 SMB multi level remains the best ever. It's bananas yet it crosses over so well LOL |

I stumbled on these forums in about 2006 when looking for a simple gameshark code - one to unlock the door at the end of the MP facility map. I was intrigued by how you could unlock and move items around in other mission-only map with the use of 200+ gameshark codes. I learned a lot from wreck on how to hack out gameshark codes and ended up creating 8 or so multiplayer maps out of gameshark codes.
Then came the editor. And in its early phase, it had no visual editor. I did probably half of my library mission without a visual editor, using other methods to grab preset data and place items. And then of course came the visual editor making hacking MUCH easier. |

To get a different alarm you need to use a C4 (play sound effect) action code - there are 3 different alarms - 00A1, 00A2, and 00A3. I don't remember which one is the meltdown alarm. |

I was always looking up more things about Goldeneye on Youtube and Google back in 2006 and 2007. I eventually stumbled upon SubDrag's channel on Youtube, and I started watching his videos. When I saw the teaser for his editor, I was just shocked. I couldn't believe that someone managed to completely understand how Goldeneye works and use it to make an editor.
It was around 2010 or 2011 when I got the chance to download it and take a look at what was revolutionizing the Goldeneye community. After some time looking around on GoldeneyeVault and checking out all the tutorials and what not, I came across this forum. I still can't believe that SubDrag, Wreck, and Zoinkity managed to create the editor. I'm happy to be around and enjoy hacking with everyone on the forum. _________________ YouTube Channel: http://Youtube.com/Peep5167

I used to play Goldeneye 007 on project 64 for a long time. Then, once in 2010, i saw there existed a program to edit Goldeneye. It was like, wow, i could play my own levels instead of going trough the facility for the 9999st time (facilty stays nice, though)
But it seemed much harder than i thought. A year later, i begun to download other peoples levels, like fantastic island. The time went on, more levels appeared and i thought, HEY, lets try to make something! I learned, kept asking questions, made a scenario(maybe you know, the story of Alfredo Lamberra) and somewhere in july, my first level was posted. I am still learning however, and i will do my best to continue, to let Goldeneye 007 live forever, that is the reason why we do this great things!

The Silver pp7 is shiny and shoots trough things, cool or what?
