I'm not into the details, but this hack looks really fantastic.
The levels look very nice and appealing and have a sense of space. |

Simply amazing, perhaps it's just my perspective as a non hacker but I have a profound respect for what it is you guys do. If the military afforded me more free time I might try it out for myself
Can't wait to see your mod Aries, you'll definitely have to post a playthrough on youtube when your done. _________________ "Inspiration strikes but once.. If you're forgetful, carry a pen." -Me |

Brand new levels, modified music soundtrack, and more Mario 64 fun?
This really does look quite wonderful. I'd definitely be interested in playing this mod when it's completed. Very cool. _________________

The biggest beef I have with most SM64 mods, is that very few (if any) actually work on console. If Star Road was playable on the N64, I'd have definitely already tried it. But since it isn't, I've just been putting it off to the side. With the release of all these flash carts within the last year or so, you'd think they'd want to get these running on the real hardware. _________________

@Wreck: You can try Star Road on Wii64, but some levels end up freezing the game. |

Not working on console:
It's a flaw in the expansion code I believe. They do something like a non-aligned address or misaligned PI read or something. Never really looked into it much, but it's a well known problem. _________________ (\_/) Beware

I was told it just expanded to non-aligned addresses, and the guy who wrote it seems to be MIA (VLTone?)/ |

Star Road doesn't work very well on Wii64. It's all laggy and it crashes all the time under the same circunstances.
I have only played the firsts levels but from the videos I have seen it's a hell of a hack. And made by one person! |
