i've always been playing the pokémon games, since red and blue, till black and white. In europe soon black and white 2 are coming out...
I don't know. I feel a bit ashame when i play them again, but it's also very funny, and it are great games to me.
Should I buy pokemon black-or white 2? should I let the nostalgia win from the shame? Have you plans buying it?
tell me guys |

If you think you'll enjoy them, than I'd say to buy them. I've never been a fan of turn-based RPG's, so I can't get into Pokemon. Snap was alright on N64, though. I also did get into the cards years ago. But as far as games go, they aren't my thing. _________________

I'm working my way through the original Silver right now.
They've said that Black & White 2 are for the fans, so if you've been playing them this long, go get 'em! _________________ Pure hand-drawn goodness. |

I will be getting it saturday at midnight. Definitely get it if you are a long-time fan. The post game has a 'World Tournament' that features the appearances of every single gym leader and elite four member since Red/Blue (Kanto). _________________ Twitch

I heard through the grapevine that a certain horrifying trainer combo from B/W got nerfed in the new version. (If you've played it, you know what I'm talking about.)
I love Pokémon and can't really endorse it enough. So in other words I'm totally biased and can't be trusted ;*) _________________ (\_/) Beware

well now i bought it(little time ago, though) and my first impression is that it is great.
It's so funny to see rattatas and patrats in the same place. They did a great job with that. Unova is very well edited, with the new city's and gyms. The personnalities are at their best. Each city has its deep own feeling, like I've never felt before with pokemn games. Only, when you played soulsilver or heartgold too much, you miss that cute pokemon walking behind you...hehe
all in all it is great, like predicted, currently, i just beated clay. My team looks like this now: Dewott, flaafy, growlithe, lucario(evolved from riolu at level 20!), sandile, and bravairy.-huh, braviary? yes, braviary every monday in on route4(or something like that?) there's a bravairy lv 25 in white. In black it's mandibuzz i think. How awesome's that? normally you only got rufflet late in game, it eveolves late, and now you got early in game a braviary with hidden abilty, defiant.
Even the braviary alone makes it great |

Have to ask, since it was such a problem with previous games, but did you shotgun the league with one pokémon?
You know, where you basically don't need to use anything but the one, horrifyingly deadly solution to all your problems? The first two were bad about that, and I've heard it wasn't really solved in gen3 either. Just wanted to know if the league poses an actual challenge now. _________________ (\_/) Beware

well, zoinkity, it depends.
Of course, you can always work your ass off to train those pokemons till lv 75 or higher, so you can just rush trough it, destroying everything. it depends in how patient you are to train. Now, if you would train a good pokemon till a very high level, you would be able to crush the e4 and the champion. the pokemon with the highest level in the whole first time is iris's haxorus, and it's at level 59. the biggest danger was, in my opinion, iris's hydreigon, since the nasty beast knew flamethrower, surf, charge beam, and dragon pulse. if the pokemon you've send out is not weak to fire, electric, or water, you'll get a hard stab dragon pulse in your face.
I challenged the league with relatively low level pokemons, to make it a challenge, just arcanine was stronger for back-up.
conclusion? if you train a pokemon that's very good to a high level , and if it's not weak to much things, you can shotgun the league. But i prefer little challenges |

I just meant that the first game you could 1-hit KO them all at a level disadvantage with a single pokémon by spamming ice beam and psychic. Actually, you could kill pretty much anything with psychic.
From the looks of the lineup though (looked it up at Bulbapedia) that doesn't seem like a concern any longer. Seems with time the series really is patching up its only flaws.
They aren't just good games but technically advanced as well, at least in Japan. The GB games had a little dongle to play over the phone, and an adapter was made so you could play a phone battle with Stadium 3 on the N64. _________________ (\_/) Beware

now well actually, there's a new system with medals,(doing things to obtain a medal, sometimes just stupid things like rode a bicycle first time) and one of them can be obtained after beating the leaugue with one party pokemon. Hehe suggestions?
And about the first one, yeah it's because psychic only had 1 weakness that time being bug, and since bug wasn't that awesome at that time, psychic ruled the battle. In this version however, you won't reach too far with psychic pokemon only-ghost and dark e4 members-but it remains an useful type, in my opinion. |

yesterday i had so much luck...
I was catching reshiram (lv.70), his health was red and he was paralyzed. First try, I threw a great ball, three ticks and he was caught. unbelievable, no?
Later, in the same place(dragonspiral tower) i encountered a dratini. Yes! master dragonite joined my team! |

Good afternoon, or whatever what time it is when you read this.
instead of training my team, which at the moment contains a dragonite, a genesect, a starmie, a jolteon, a krookodile, and a reshiram ( yeah i know legendaries in a team suck) i was thinking of doing a funny challenge, i was thinking of creating for example a team of only weezings with explosion(or any other easy to catch pokemon which know explosion, or destinity bond, both moves pull the enemy down) or a team consisting of only one type, and i was thinking of fighting type, or steel type, or poison type, or ghost type, that seems fun. OR, defeating the league and champion with only one pokemon!
tell me your ideas 'bout this please. Thanks in advance
oh why am i thinking about this? you can get medals for doing challenges like this i want to score a 'weird medal', just for fun |

BTW Does anyone here understand EV training? I heard it's good but I don't know how to do it. |
