Are there any other secret levels, or the remains of one, in Goldeneye or Perfect Dark? I know that both games have beta objects and the traces of beta objectives and game modes, but are there are physical levels (single player or multiplayer) that exist in the game, however unfinished, and if so, are they complete enough that we might one day see the level(s) rebuilt and added to Goldeneye X or a similar project?

PD has that platform (it's like two squares) level, that was a placeholder. That's all I'm aware of in terms of background.

There's nothing else in GE. The only thing that isn't fully documented is the code, and that's coming along as well.

Oh yes, I remember reading about that. It's in the middle of the city, isn't it, the city that you fly through in the introduction video to PD's first mission.

Pity. I was hoping there was a mostly finished single player level that we might one day see made playable.

I suppose the closest we have is the dam's island. Though that doesn't count, as it does physically exist in the game, it's just that the player can't get there without cheating.

I remember a rumor detstar.com page on a level called Casino, what if you can not be a false rumor or is data that are within the GE rom. There is also a beta code looks like Bunker, when the code is activated you are inside the Bunker level 1, which has no doors, objects, enemies.

anyway do not know where you can get more information beta rumors whether or not, for the page "detstar" disappeared and there was a good amount of content and beta gameshark.

what I find even more interesting is that in the absence GE rom the old model KF7, and I say this because one day I would try the old model of this gun.

Casino is a crock. There's no basis for it whatsoever.

For invalid stage numbers, which is sadly everything above and below certain ones and only one of the inbetweeners, the default is to load Bunker I. You can load in a stage without a setup file, automatically positioned to (0,0,0), assuming that's a valid location. No text file is loaded either, so don't poke around in the 1-player menus too much.

KF7, rocket launcher, and taser changed models before release. Taser was never really finished either. Original KF7 was using the generic gun texture some of the other weapons were though, which didn't map well to be honest. Also, 1st person models didn't use lighting in older shots.

We made clipping hacks for the Silo vent and Dam island way back in the day. I probably still have them on one of these floppies. Really need to get everything off those already, or hire a secretary.

There's a few other funny sections. Look at Depot and Streets with all rooms lit. There's fudged-out details that are really sort of neat.

The PD platform is a simple square that loads up by default when a stage background isn't present. If you've ever used any of Krijy's stage codes this is the place you load instead of the institute. There's nothing else in the file.
