Hi guys,
I was wondering if there's any N64 emulator, graphic plugin or external tool that can count in real time the amount of tris that are loaded in memory.
My idea is to locate the most high poly areas on GE/PD and compare them with my levels, so I can know beforehand if I'm close or above what is desirable.
One way to do it would be ripping the scene with the Nemu64 plugin and use a modeller to count the tris. But that would take alot of time just to do one level. So I need a more straightfoward way. |

do not know if there is any plugin with some of the features you say. There are plugins with option to see a game in wireframe mode, ie see the game without textures and like you're watching the skeleton of the characters and objects game level, if it can not serve and that using it is seen that for the geomteria triangles is used for everything, for example in goldeneye can see a cardboard box, to form a square this box bind two triangles. Subdrag or someone may know how to use the configuration editor to make a patch with this feature so you can see the triangulation while goldeneye or perfect dark emulates. |
