So if I was a big CEO of one of those companies and saw this little clip my attitude on actually continuing the remake would be "yeah f*ck this" and I'd go make something else.

Still I loved "From Russia With Love" and really feel that a homology between GE and that would work really well with the aim and focus modes (perhaps a little dynamic slowdown etc.). The old games suffer from one key problem, and that's that innovation had only happened so much. Modern games suffer from what's best said to be "innovation stagnation" where it's so easy to make a clone of something that's already made using one of the many available engines, so novel things are few and far between.

What I'm getting at is that Goldeneye needs to stay where it is. While there is nostalgia value, it just wouldn't cut it (however innovated) on a stagnated market Sad
