We all know Will Smith... as a disgruntled low-level authority figure with a gun. However, before he was that, he was a low-level almost thug from West Philadelphia (born and raised) who relocated to West Los Angeles (Bel Air) to spend the rest of his rearing (socialization) with Aunt Viv and Uncle Phil.

A few obversations..........

The fat and short jokes got so old so quickly. pffff Will Smith was not showing intelligence with that repetition.

How come Will never got on Geoffrey Butler's case for being short? Joseph Marcell was not much taller than Alfonso Ribeiro

One of the running gags, especially early on, was how black Carlton was. He was "oreo". How come Will never questioned how black Hilary, Geoffrey, and Ashley are, as he did so thoroughly with Carlton? The first season especially. Did they get the "female exemption", i.e. they get don't have to go through it, and perhaps prohibited from it, because they are female?

While their personalities didn't "match" so to speak their race, the actual pigment of Hilary's skin definitely tells that she has white ancestry. A half and half, equal to the first 'black' president. There is no way possible she could be the daughter of uncle Phil and the first Aunt Viv, based on skin pigmentation alone. The second Aunt Viv could more reasonably happen to birth such a white black child.

The second Aunt Viv was soooooooooooooo boring compared to the first. The first Aunt Viv was a university professor. The second one was a stay-at-home. Geoffrey Butler was definitely not needed from season 4 and beyond.

In reference to Coming to America (1988), there is no way possible as black as Eddie Murphy is, he could be the son of as white of a black person as James Earl Jones is. Jones has that deep voice, and that is it. Considering how black his wife Queen Aeoleon, Akeem's mother, is, he is not black enough to reasonably be the father.

And... Patrice McDowell could be, at most, the half-sister of Lisa, based on skin pigmentation. BTW, Patrice McDowell was a lot cuter than Lisa.
