Tools - Animation Editor. Exporting allows to FBX format if you set up obj2an8 and set in preferences. |

The bvh files obj2an8 creates is not blender compatible, so you will not be able to import it. I have already alerted the dev team to this bug https://developer.blender.org/T45621 |

The editor exports are confirmed working for xsi and Maya. Blender seems to not be capable, mainly due to its own failings, but hopefully one day. |

Yes it is not capable of importing it properly. Bvh import has bug that pavarini mentioned and fbx import does not work for the ones I generate. Converted to Collada didn't import either. Maybe you can find a format to convert to from fbx that will work, but I have not. |

I would wait until the BVH importer bug is fixed for blender. However I can vouch for Autodesk's XSI and MotionBuilder. |
