hey wreck thanks for the shout out and plug!
wanted to do something to help spread the word for the game as its a very cool project and having an N64 channel means i probably have the right audience.
REALLY looking forward to doing one for Goldfinger64 when that is ready  |

The trailer is still in the works. However, I wanted to share this video. I found it while browsing GE-X related clips on YouTube.

This sort of thing is what keeps the project going, and my personal passion for it strong. This "Casey Likes Games" has other long videos (and I mean long) of the game in action, but this teaser clip just about sums it all up. |

I'd also like to leave a shout-out to someone I also found recently while browsing for GE:X videos. This UltraNick24 guy seems pretty cool and he does a few GE:X gameplay/talk videos that I thought were cool. I guess he started his channel by playing GE:X and he's now at 18k subs.

Oh, please don't ever think that just because Goldeneye X doesn't have thousands (or even hundreds?) of people playing it, that those of us who do play it, don't *love* it! You'll never get lots of coverage or discussion about it, since it's a mod for a twenty year old game, on a largely forgotten (to most gamers) console, and the people who do play Goldeneye X tend to be older gamers, who haven't grown up with Youtube or game-streaming, so don't tend to make videos of the games we play.
But for those of us who still love Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, and think that many of the 'innovations' that took place in the first person genre post PD were actually steps backward (weapon carrying limit, more linear levels, a more cinematic 'feel', focus on online multiplayer, etc), then Goldeneye X is fantastic. But we're not the demographic that Pokemon Go was aimed at, so there's far less of us, and we make far less noise. |

I'll be streaming the latest patch on twitch.tv when it gets released. For the longest time, I said I would make a patching tutorial and I think I'm going to commit to making one very soon for the channel. Make it easier for new people to get into the game.
