It took me five years to realize the ID 3C, the crash site intro ambiance IS THE ACTUAL SONG! I found out after going here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-7y-mKZOFU and i read the description, changed the level music to that id and there you go. I feel like an idiot for not noticing that FIVE YEARS AGO _________________ GE has some weird unused setup names

I'm glad i found it. I know there is a GS code for it, but considering some people i've asked elsewhere, I was lead to believe it was floating around in some mystery part of the ROM. Now i know that's not the case. It's been hiding under our noses the entire time. I've got it set up in both the mission and for selection in CS. I hope i've made everyone happy finally finding where dang thing has been "hiding"...

I forgot to mention that for CS It's ID is in 7X ballpark. I forgot which one but the editor says crash site intro ambience sounds. Pretty neat that was hidden as wind noises. I'll upload a patch in a bit to have the song in the mission + in CS. I personally like the song myself and the patch means you have to manually set it up all the time for various hacks. _________________ GE has some weird unused setup names

I gotta say, while I never discovered the song's existence in the game, I'm glad to really contribute something new to the community that hasn't been located. I've spent wayyyy too much time looking in the wrong places for it.
I say we use this with citadel. Long lost level with long lost BGM. seems fitting if you ask me. _________________ GE has some weird unused setup names

Citadel already has a theme song, though. It was set to play in GE for that specific level ID, and I think even the music composers acknowledge it as such. Most YouTube "music videos" also label it as that. |

I thought unused level + unused song might work in a hack eventually. And i know of another hack that i need to work on still. It's not dead, I'm just lacking a bit of free time to do more to it... This was one of the few tracks recorded by Graeme Norgate, and modified later into the Deep Sea track by Grant Kirkhope. I've always loved this track! |
