Which MP weapons that I have excluded would you want? If so, message what you'd sacrifice. |

A problem with this occurs to me which I should have considered sooner. What do I do with the weapon locations? The solution I proposed for GE-X won't be correct for the PD maps. I can make them match for 5 weapon load outs but not 6. Wreck, what did you do for the GE-X challenges with 6 weapons?
Edit: I think I will apply a different solution, one that works for Golden Gun but not for pistols given that any pistols loadout will look different to Goldeneye on the simple basis that the weapon set would contain weapons from both games. |

Regarding the Golden Gun and weapon loadouts I think the maps should have only 1 location for, say, weapon 6 in order that you limit the number of Golden Guns or other overpowered weapons. Ideally we would use a Man with the Golden Gun setting but, as far as I'm aware, that has not proven possible for the PD engine thus far. My friends and I played all the PD maps and extensively discussed locations. The consensus was as follows:
Skedar - centre of large square room with upper level ledge that goes around all 4 sides
Pipes - little cul de sac corridor in the top corridor
Ravine - top room near the lift
G5 - top gangway, the one near balcony
Sewers - in the trench at the bottom of the map
Warehouse - on top of the large box stack
Grid - upstairs, in the small room that has the area surrounded by glass
Ruins - in the top outdoor area
Area 52 - in the trench
Base - ledge you access via ladder, next to the steep slope
Fortress - centre walkway, although this involves some changes to the other weapons
Villa - on top of the pillar
Car Park - higher part of main rooftop
Not all of these are my first choice, but what we agreed by majority vote. If however, others have strong opinions, please let me know. |

I don't play multiplayer very often these days, but those locations sound like they're hard to get to or hard to escape from. That sounds like the best idea. I definitely remember that Sewer area...!
Hmmmmmmm. Can't say I disagree with any of them. _________________
