| I saw my first ad for the system at Future Shop. Nice! I'm liking the games they had listed, with COD 3 likely catching my eye. I actually like that the gamecube games and controllers are compatible. I'll see after using the baton whether I need to get 3 more. This system has a really nice selling price. I'm juiced. |

| I just seen a segment on G4TV on th Wii looks like its going to be fun.I like that they are trying to take video games in a new direction.I think it will be worth the money and you can use your gamecube stuff with it.Plus the online ability to buy old nes,super nes,n64 and other things how could you go wrong? |

As a dedicated Ninty fan since I got my N64 I don't quite understand why I'm not excited about this yet... 
I'm still getting one though, will probably buy myself one for Christmas if the job I get is good enough.
Also, I will have to take a break from the internet for some time to garuntee no Zelda spoliers.
That would anger me greatly...  |

| I'm happy that Nintendo is at least opening up to the older demographic with a few more adult style games. Their focus before on the GC was way to obvious and painful. |

GameCube had the exclusivity rights for the Resident Evil series.
Of those games, Resident Evil 4 was both praised by the fans, and torn apart by those who are opposed to violence in videogames. Also on the same console, a remake of Metal Gear Solid. This one featuring far more gore than the original, as well as a few different cutscenes with even greater brutality. That's what gets me. People always tend to look at the T for Teen and E for Everyone lineup from Nintendo, failing to notice the M for Mature titles that get released. I know that they're in the minority, but I'm tired of hearing big N' getting bashed for being kid oriented. I know if I had a child, I'd prefer them playing Super Mario Sunshine over Grand Theft Auto anyday. It's companies like Nintendo that are trying to maintain fun and friendly games for those who still young. I grew up on Nintendo and I still love Mario and Luigi, Donkey Kong and The Legend of Zelda. I respect what they are doing and admire them for sticking to their guns. Be them water pistols or not.
