A few days back, I wanted to play the N64 exclusive 'Duke Nukem: Zero Hour' (a superb game, about 30,000 times better than Duke Nukem Forever) on my laptop (not my N64, or original XBox), and control it with mouse and keyboard. Nope, most Windows N64 emulators don't seem to allow you to control the emulated N64's analogue stick with the mouse, and the one that did (an early version of Project 64) didn't allow you to alter the far-too-low level of the mouse's sensitivity. Is there an emulator that I've not tried that does let you use mouse control (the PC mouse, I mean) to simulate the N64 joypad's analogue stick, and does a good job at it?
I would have thought that such a feature would be common on N64 emulators, but apparently not. Note, of course, that I want to control the emulated N64 games with the PC's mouse, I am not talking about the N64's own mouse (an addon for the genuine N64, that I have never owned and had no interest it).
Thanks for any answers. |
