Just a thought I've had, because I'm quite puzzled. I'm not a programmer and I'm nothing more than a geek. So, my point is, perhaps they aren't able to emulate these N64 very well. I've read somewhere about the aspects of mario64, and that it looks great with a few graphical glitches here and there. That sounds like to me, what emulation was years ago. Honestly, emulator wise mario64 is likely the most accuarate game out there. It's virtually perfect. I'm just wondering what Nintendo is using to run the N64 games. I just know the long process the emulation scene has had making some of the truly great games playable on the emulators. Is Nintendo faced with the same issues? |

Mario 64 was amazing. Was for its time, and still contends nowadays. I hope they get it right. Didnt it even win a VGA? _________________ "Inspiration strikes but once.. If you're forgetful, carry a pen." -Me |

Probably. The game has such good memories for me. Such a challenge. I loved the entire experience. I really was one of the best games ever and really it put the stamp of the Nintendo 64 as being the greatest console ever made. I still believe that is was the best ever console. |

I agree.
The N64 is easily my favourite console. Part of the reason is probably because I'm able to hack games on it, where as I can't for any other system. Never got into GameCube hacking, because I needed to buy a bunch of crap to connect it to my PC. Well, I wouldn't be able to do that now, considering I recently sold my GC. PlayStation was a pain in the butt. You needed a certain version to get the good GameShark to work. Otherwise, you'd be stuck with the cheapy code entry only cheating device. I had two different PlayStations and neither were the right one. Hacking aside, Nintendo64 had so many fantastic games and a wonderful controller. It was Nintendo in 3D. That was one huge breakthrough in gaming. _________________
