Briefing:
Since PS3 and Wii are already on sale last month, Nintendo Wii has sold more consols than PS3 and XBox 360. Are you ready to try these new consols?
Feedback: I tried XBox 360. And I am ready to try Wii. |

| I can't vote at the moment, as I'm still not sure. I want the one that has the best first person shooters, but I'm also keen on getting one that can be modded to run third party software. For both of these reasons, the XBox suited me best the last generation, although no FPS on the XBox even approached PD or GE, let alone surpassed them). Plus I'm interested to see how games use the Wii-mote control. And yes, the Wii's price is a plus point for it. I'll just have to wait and see, but it won't be until at least after Christmas before I can afford a new console. Anyway, I still use the N64 more than the XBox, even including the SNES/NES/MAME etc emulators on the XBox. |

Nothing wrong with the SNES, it has some first class games, and many people still regard it as the best console ever, especially for RPGs, 2D shooters and platform games. And it was the last Nintendo console that wasn't short of third party developers.
Although I do have to ask, why are you on this forum if you presumably don't play Perfect Dark or Goldeneye (or do you use a PC emulator) or Halo 1 and 2?
You can pick up a used N64 very cheaply nowadays (I bought one a while ago as backup in case my current one died, a nice transparent green one from ebay), and the same goes for the XBox. And if you wait until after Christmas there'll be loads more great bargains as new 360/Wii/PS3 owners sell their older stuff (and then in many cases miss their old games and consoles... and end up buying them again for more than they gained when they sold them).
Personally, I never considered selling the N64 when I bought the XBox, and I've been glad of it ever since. And when I do get a next gen console, I won't be selling either the XBox or the N64. I mean, not only are you losing some of your favourite ever games (if not, then the console must have disappointed you) but you also get a pittance for the whole package. |

College is expensive bro. I can barely afford the ramen noodles. And your right that I dont play PD or GE (anymore), but thats because I gave my N64 to my lil cuz. (he really liked playing whenever he would come over) I used to play all the time. Plus, I'm a huge Halo fan. Ive never owned an X-Box, but I can still own alot of my freinds who do. (probably thanks to alot of practice on PD (which I played more than GE)) I'm gonna try and find an N64 in Seattle (or maybe even yahoo) after christmas break.
