Damn, I probably should get this game also for that same reason. I think having a heads up on the multiplayer will result in some serious poundings on opponents. I'm not a fan of this marketing ploy though. The game must really really suck!!

lol i know, but they know that we're bloodthirsty for a taste of the multiplayer. i mean i'm willing to pay 60 bucks and its not even the entire game. not to mention i'm probably gonna get the Legendary Edition of Halo 3 just for all the extra content. So thats 160 on a game. Ridic if you ask me.

Even if Halo 3 has the world's best gameplay, it'll be worthless if it doesn't have ultra high detail textures like Halo 1.

The texture details aren't different at all. Halo 1 made you appreciate the size of being on one of the Halo's. I mean the levels were just massive. And Halo 2 went for a more urban feel. And its all about gameplay, why would you want a game with super sick visuals but the gameplay sucked. It doesn't make sense, yeah the graphics are good but do you just play and look around or do you get your frag on. Thats just me i'm not trying to slam you or anything but what you're saying is not logical from a gamers point of view. And Halo 2's gameplay is damn near flawless other than a few things that can be adjusted easy. Halo 3 is going to exceed all expectations.

I meant this game Crackdown must be crappy for them to have this sort of incentive to buy it. That's my opinion anyways...
