And thanks everyone for the positive feedback. I'm not sure what I'm calling this yet, though this will probably be strictly a mission - I can't imagine that framerates will hold up at all in my finished product in multiplayer mode - runway is slow enough without the additions. |
That's okay B because regardless of framerate PLEASE don't dismiss a multiplayer version of this. It would be like removing Facility out of regular multiplayer This mod is way too cool for just a mission level only _________________

Ah well personnaly I'm more interested in solo levels...
the diversity is larger in a sole level: much more objects and more objectives too complete, different guards, and you can play the level in many different ways.
The mysteries and mechanics of a multi level are solved very fast..
while a good solo level keeps entertaining
perfect example is library: this thing is sooo boring in multi...
but thanks to bmw it became one of the best solo levels I've ever tried!
So a solo is fine for me |

I could perhaps make a runway mp map work as follows (plus the additional rooms I still have to add to the roof). Eliminating the long portion of the actual runway and focusing action on the roof and immediate surrounding areas MIGHT work ok.
Upon looking at that you have to admit that the dam tunnel blends in nicely with this map. I'll have to look at portals to see what all can be done for grenade travel.

Well, that'd surely be an interesting thing to see. _________________

Well I'm almost done with Part ONE of a complete Solo Multiplayer Mod with ALL OBJECTS in them as well as all aircraft animated The ROLLING supply truck in DAM won't allow the level to load but oh well ) It's like playing campaign in multiplayer in all 20 levels! Keep an eye out for it because I'm almost done with Part ONE and will be beginning part TWO next week Multi X

Here's a demonstration of the ability to blow up a plane during its animation block (the door you see in the runway was just a trigger to start the animation block).

Cool lasers. I thought only PD could do it. But that's nice! _________________ www.youtube.com/gamerrey23 |

If you're referring to the intro - that was actually one of wreck's ideas.
Its a monitor screen sized down to the shape of a laser. Its image is the flashing red light. I used a series of lined-up presets to detect when Bond crosses the laser. To test the accuracy of the detection I programmed a single ding sound to go off every time I crossed the line - got it working perfectly. So there's no "holes" to sneak through. |

The animated plane is awesome B!!!! That is so cool! Anyway a brother could get that action block? Also can the time be set in it? Like if you want it to take off in 10 minutes, etc? _________________

So do you get hurt from them or is it only a detection thing? _________________ www.youtube.com/gamerrey23 |

Well, I don't think I deserve all the credit. I made a "laser grid" in my Q Training Lab mission that was originally packed in with the GoldenEditor bundle, but it was using something like the beta fire extinguisher as the lasers. BMW came up with the much more clever concept of utilizing animated monitor screens. That makes the beams far more convincing looking. _________________

Oh I see!! Yeah cause on your mission it was black lines. So used a monitor screen and went to the blinking alarm thing similar to the doors in Dam.
