Will Goldeneye be released for the new Nintendo console? Has there been any official word yet? And if so, will it be gameshark hackable?
EDIT - and just for the record, I think Nintendo should have stuck with "Revolution" over Wii. |

I'm bummed out so far, no word on it from E3. I haven't read anything about mentioning the games available for downloading. I guess marketing wise, they are only pushing the new stuff. Oh well. |

Lol nintendo, they love their W's and there i's. Id rather start a revolution then start a Wii, it sounds like some 2 year old kid getting beat in the face, not a new generation gaming machine. Leave it to nintendo to change somthing to make it really stick out. Tho I like Big N, 25 years and counting, Sony has only been in the gamming buisness for about 10 years, and microsoft only a weak lil 5 years. _________________ .+*"*+..+*"*+..+*"*+..+*"*+..+*"*+..+*"*+.

-and Nintendo actually makes a profit on their consoles.
If you know your trivia you know that there is a nifty controller-sized N64 handheld being sold in China. It also allows you to download games, and it has a huge library. However, despite a large demand for Goldeneye, they simply stated the title could never be freed legally.
On paper, GE and PD still belong to Rare, which is now owned by M$. Not to say they wouldn't (maybe - if there was enough profit to it) allow PD to be released, but it isn't bloody likely. Even worse, Rare can't even talk about the game themselves since it was licensed from UA, who never cared for it much. UA is the reason Free Radical can't do another Bond game that doesn't suck - they actually *prefer* EA Games sucktastic sequels.
Short answer: GE will only be released on Wii if we hack the upload code and do it ourselves. _________________ (\_/) Beware
