The Vertice Point Table for Room 1C in Silo ( 460314.bin ) has incorrect data throughout. This causes the room to stretch out across the entire stage. An older copy used in replacement fixed the probllem. I've sent SubDrag a link to the proper file. If you need it now, simply save this one over your original in the WallData --> UsetupsiloZ folder.

The Vertice Point Table for Room 01 in Runway ( 6615C8.bin ) has invalid data on the first three lines. This causes a portion of the door frame to disappear, as the texture for it is assigned incorrectly. A fresh extract from the original BG file located in the BGDataFull folder fixed this mistake. I'll e-mail SubDrag the proper binary file.

Is it just my computer, or is the Dam really messed up? I can't get a picture right now to show you what is going on, but I'll try to explain it.

Rooms 10 and 11 are stretched out across the dam. The textures are all screwy, until you click on them in Room Positions mode. It's as if something in those room files has gone horribly wrong. I'll have to replace them with older ones to see if that is the case, since this has never happened to me before.

Anyone else have this problem?

Edit: It appears as though Room 10's Vertice file ( 604A34.bin) was wrong. Inside I found something regarding Visual Basic, when checking it out in Hex Edit. Could it just be my copy?

Edit ii: Room 11's Vertice file ( 604C24.bin ) also has the wrong data inside it. This one refers to "debug" multiple times, and also contains "english Text File Offsets" and "Main 21990 Setup". I'm not sure if this is something that mistakenly happened and was compiled into the new Setup Editor package, or some weird thing that's happened to me.

Anyways, I've replaced the two errornous files with older copies.
The stage is back to normal, as far as I can tell.
I'm absolutely shocked that it even loaded in-game before.

Haha, that's sort of bizarre. I can't explain what went wrong, maybe file system corruption, but the GE editor is amazingly versatile and amazingly non-versatile usually.

I meant to bring this up too, I saw it when I had the full level displayed, those rooms don't usually load with "Display Rooms" so I guess it's pretty easy to miss.

I'd like to hear from other users who've downloaded a newer v2.2 copy of the GoldenEditor. But so far, it sounds as though DB and myself have both had some trouble with those two rooms.

I just fixed the crashing bug when importing new levels. It didn't reset what room you had selected, so if you had room 2F selected and only had 1 new room, it tried to draw room 2F selected tri and died.

Please email me the corrected bgfiles. I will update the editor binary this weekend (plus hammer fixes)

Silo has similar issues to Dam with its BG, one of the rooms is stretched out over the entire level.

Also, some 21990-related problems. The water enabled bit doesn't save, nor does the 3P and 4P sky color. The "Near Intensity" text is on two lines with the second half cutoff on my computer (Using the default XP blue theme).

If you can find which room is messed up in silo or give me the replacement, that'd be good. I'll look into the 21990 issues.

It's room 1C, I don't have a copy of it from before it got messed up.

I'll check to see if I have an older copy of that Silo room on my other PC. If not, I'll extract it from a fresh copy of the background. It does sound somewhat similar to the problems that the Dam mountains suffered from.

There are errors with the Frigate in the Editor?
Could you be a little more specific on what they are?

The reason why one of each double-door appears to be off blance, is because of a setting that the door uses. They have the "Door Flipped" flag activated, which causes them to look a little odd in the Editor. It doesn't quite handle it the exact way the game does. Not sure if Sub has ever spent anymore time on this or not. Just a funny Editor quirk.
