I have a few questions about the Multiplayer maps seen on this page.

http://goldeneyeforever.goldeneyehacks.com/solo.html

1. Why is the Dam FZ playable on console, but not the Dam BZ?

2. Is the Citadel playable with spawns and solid floors on console?
It kind of hints that it is...but I'm not sure and I doubted it.

3. When I played the Runway on console whenever I zoomed in 100% with the sniper rifle it does this strange glitch where the camera moves up and the floor like dissapears.
Is this normal?

4. I haven't tried out the Streets level and was wondering if it's the entire level or just a certain section?
Also the 3/4 player code for Streets seems too short, do you replace it with "Pt 1" and enter the rest normally?

5. I watched a video of BMW playing in the Jungle in multi. and I was wondering if there was a link for the codes on console?

Alright, that about sums it up, sorry about asking 4,000 questions in one topic but my computer hasn't been able to log into any website so I'm just trying to make the most of it.

Thanks for your help.

The backzone does not work on console??? i was sure i had it loaded and working at one point but even then it was kind off glitchy so i am not sure about that one.
No i am sure the citadel will not work on console just with codes it needs the special uploader.
That always happens in runway no matter what it is just one of those things Rare was unable to fix or possibly missed Confused
Streets i have not tried either so i cannot answer
Jungle playable on console codes i am not sure i might be able to find them but i cannot guarantee it

Streets is partial. You play in the first part, up to the overpass. The rest of the stage is really made of huge objects.

I wrote a Dam BZ a long while ago that does work on console. It should be in the forum archives if you can't find it anywhere else.

BMW has his own website filled with codes for virtually every stage.

Runway is weird. Yes, the sniper rifle is known to act very stupid in there. It has to do with a lot of annoying technical details not worth getting into, and awfully difficult to correct.
Also, Dam and some other stage have an issue where you can see through walls when using zoom. Surface doesn't render the inside of buildings two rooms away. There's probably many other glitches as well.

Citadel requires the uploader, so you'd need a computer with a parallel port, a GS v3.x, and the program. It uploads the floor, stage image, and a few other important things, so you really can't get around it.

Hmmm...I did post zoinkity's dam bz on that codes page, but I have noted that its NOT CONSOLE COMPATIBLE. Its been long enough ago that I don't remember why I put that on there. Did you try it on console?

Oh, and jungle is there, you just have to look closely - its not in the main graphic but in a separate link....

http://goldeneyeforever.goldeneyehacks.com/cubanjungle.txt

EDIT - oh, now I see what the problem is with zoinkity's dam bz - it far exceeds the 251 lines of code limit. I didn't count it exactly but it exceeds 300 - looks like you counted actual lines and didn't account for your 500xxxxxx lines as counting as more than 1 line.

Oh alright I'll search the forum for some other answers but thanks for the help, I'm surprised you guys still post here seems like it's just you like same 6 guys posting and no one else.

BTW, the maps are immaculate...I thought you should know that since I don't have any sort of patience to figure out how to do hack all of that.

Some levels I ask what they were is because I don't have a cable to hook my GS up with and entering by hand is pretty lame but I usually do it while I have nothing else to do.Music also helps alot.

Well thanks again.

It's a good thing we ended up with a code that allowed the memory to shift around in multiplayer, so that you only need one codeset per level. We used to need one for each player amount! Entering all the lines for a custom map is bad enough, nevermind doing it three times... Razz

Actually, I meant this one ;*) It clocks in at 228 lines and works best on console. It doesn't work on emulators unless you delete the line:
Code:
817C5D0E 0372

-from the first section.

There's a special note though. These codes +must+ be the first ones in your codelist or at the worst the first ones that are active. This is because of the line above. It sets the activator to span the entire Dam codelist, allowing you to play other multiplayer stages without turning off the codes or powering off. You can have other codes on after it, but nothing before. You +MUST+ run with code generator on.
If that drives you nuts or there's some weird hitch, you can delete the same line from console to let it act like any other GS multiplayer stage.

Code:

That's from my codelist and I know for a fact it works, so no fussing ;*)
The activator trick is a simple one. It hacks the codelist using the calculated offset from the start of the ASM. In particular, it alters the branch that follows it to include the next gagilion lines, encompasing the whole Dam codelist.
I've done a similiar thing with other stages. They're in my copies of Facility BZ, Bunker I, Caverns FZ, Silo, Runway, Train, Archives BZ, Frigate, Surface, Jungle, and Control.
