 |
|
With more than one clip tile over top of each other, GE editor defaults the placement of the preset to the topmost layer. Is there any way to link it to a spicific clip tile or room below the top tile??? Or is there no check in the engine and always places on top clip tile |

You could try to use single room view, or maybe try to clip the rooms progressively. First you clip the lowermost, place the presets, clip the next and place presets on it, etc...
I can't run the editor myself and I can't test this, so take it with a grain of salt. |

Yeah, I think single room view would work for this. |

^ i'm not so sure on the single room view idea, i think the editor always has the clipping factored in to object placement, not factoring in if you can see the room or not.
Clipping progressively might work...though i'm not sure if "redo tile Pllinks" would default them back to the uppermost layer. |

You need to do manually in Edit Presets and change room pointer name to the other tiles manually. Sorry there's no other way |

thanks subdrag. ya i just did a quick hack and raised the clip tiles where the body armor just very slightly. But i knew there must have been a way to set the room. I swear i checked in edit objects and presets but i must have over looked it. good to know for next time |
