Zombie Infestation!!!!

After a zombie infestation at the Java Chat room, Zommandant thought about Zombies in GE. This is just an idea. They could replace the ? Characters and if made, make an ZOMBIE INFESTATION map where you have to fend off all zombie coming your way

Weapons would be either a Hunting Knife or Unarmed and if want to play Multi, make a Zombie Hand

I guess that could work, but I'm not sure if guards can attack you with slappers or knives. Either way, it'd be pretty cool.

Yeah, guards can't attack you with unarmed or knives.

Is there anyway that could override the guard weapon uses? to make them use Knives/Slappers

To my knowledge, there is no way to make it happen; they simply aren't coded to use those weapons.

IS there a way to make the codes? If anyone could then that would be great Razz so you could have a slappers match with a guard

you might be able to achieve some sort of zombie like stuff in goldeneye. first have an action block for the zombies. On sight or whatever have them run or walk to bond. 29/2A. if bond in sight '32' and within a close range and distance to bond '47' then attack. You could give them a tazer, as its an unused weapon, and get rid of the model and sound effects. And of course make a zombie model and different animation attack. Anyone know the animation format for this game?? Im guessing every piece of a character has a certain hierarchy and probably move by a set of keyframes. inno, but i think it could work

Simply you could script the Zombies to do damage through action blocks when they're within limits of Bond. I'd expect it'd look stupid, but it'd work. I've been away for a while - occupied with other projects - I think this is a great idea.

I'm sure someone could come up with a MI6 script for it too!

hmm this was at first ment only as sort of joke / idea by Commandant (Zommandant then..) but sure this might be intresting map and idea was to have Complex map FULL of "zombies" since it has some pretty narrow corridors it would be ideal map for it. Also cool weapons for map would be Magnum / Shotgun since it would feel satistying to headshot zombies with those weapons Razz

But I dont know if anyone with enough knowledge / skills will ever start working on this, but maybe its better of left that way too..

Yes. It´s a good idea. But difficult to make it. And somenhave to make codes that guards can attack with slappers/knife. We will se what is going. There are so many project (for example GF64 ) what are better the investing time in it instead of this zombie idea.

We will see what the time brings i would say, or ?

Right. I love zombies, and although I've been tempted to add 10c to a few threads, I'll take this one.

I'll have a quick script over the next few days with a stripped down level to see if I can come up with some sort of solution for some "zombieish" characters. I don't think slappers are the correct way to go, but pistol whip could work. I'm gonna see what I can derive.

Don't expect miracles guys, but watch this space.
