Knew that would grab somebody I need ANYONE to tell me how the hell to take gameshark codes and use a hex editor to change and save the ROM correctly. Is there a tool I need to look at the tables so it LOOKS like a gameshark memory editor? |

What is it that you're trying to do exactly? Do you want to take customized multiplayer maps and save them to the ROM for play on a PC via emulation or console via backup device?
If that is the case, you're better off building the custom setups with the GoldenEditor. You can save them to your computer and directly inject them into the ROM. There are plenty of FAQs to help you out with this on the Vault website. You won't be able to convert GS codes to ROM modifications, since those codes modify things within different files. The 21990 Index, as well as the Ump_setup~Z stage file. Once you get the hang of it, it's really a simple process - even if it sounds complicated. _________________

Yeah, as Spyster said, using the 21990 Modifications menu in the Stage Options section will allow you to change the sky for each level individually. Every stage can look different and use the exact colourations that you specify. _________________
