 |
|
I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum for this, so feel free to move it if it isn't. I was wondering if there is a GS code in existence that would replace Bond in the single player level cinemas with another character.. like Siberian Special Forces, or Boris, or anyone really.
I couldn't find anything like that, nor am I knowledgeable enough to know how possible this even is. Any information is appreciated. |

It is possible with GameShark / Action Replay codes, but I don't have the addresses handy. We've gotten spoiled with the GoldenEditor, and a lot of our work the last few years has been done in the form of ROM modifications. There aren't too many GS codes being made these days, and older ones are becoming harder to track down. Hopefully someone here will be able to direct you to the codes you're looking for. _________________

Cool, I'm glad to know it actually does exist at least. Maybe I'll be able to track it down with my Google skills. |

BS Free Codes. They backed up a lot of the codes that were hacked back in the late 90's/early '00's! The links for PAL and NTSC are in THIS thread I posted a while back.

I have a couple more GE Gameshark questions, I figured I may as well post them in my topic..
Is it possible to get plastiques in multiplayer? I have this awful idea for a multiplayer scenario that involves plastiques, but I haven't yet seen a code that allows them to be in multiplayer. Something that came to mind is that even if you could get them, you wouldn't be able to select them. So perhaps I could create the plastique explosion effect with a gun modifier code? And if this effect took place would it just surround the user of the gun, or would each player get surrounded by fire? I lack the knowledge to know if this is realistic, so don't hesitate to call me ridiculous.
What about double weapons in multiplayer? Using codes off of BSFree, I was able to assign an invisible weapon to a player's left hand. I didn't tinker around very much, but I wasn't able to get the gun visible. Is there a code out there to allow for a more "true" double weapons experience? Like assigning a hand to guns at spawn points so that one would pertain to left hand, one to right, or even just picking up two of the same gun would put one in each hand?
Any information is appreciated. I did do some digging around on BSFree and GSCentral, but perhaps I just missed it. |

Well if you think plastiques will blow up like in silo i dont think you can do that with out editing it in Goldeneye Editor.
And the double weapons in Muti. Yes you can have them muti but thar is a problem ones you pick one up and use it. It will freez the game and you need to turn off the game to get it to work agan.
But i did find out how to get them to work. You need to get rid of the 1st persen so your guns wont show up on the screen when you pick one up wich will let you use double weapons in muti but cant see them in 1st persen. _________________ There totally nothing to read here. |

Thanks for the response! That's not exactly what I want but that'd at least be acceptable for the moment. Do you have those codes handy? |

Plastique explosions and gas leaks in multiplayer effect all of the players involved in the match. I can't remember if it counts as a suicide for the person who detonated it, but each other person that dies should go toward your kill score. The explosions will just keep going, so everyone will continue to die during the match.
You're right about not being able to select the C4, even if you've acquired some. You have to equip it from your watch inventory menu during a mission, and I'm not sure if it is possible to extend the list of selectible weapons. If anyone would know, it'd be Zoinkity. _________________

Thar no codes its something you edit in the Goldeneye editor.
But maybe thar is a way to make it into a code. _________________ There totally nothing to read here. |

Good info, thanks! I guess I probably should have anticipated a relation between the plastique explosion effect and the tank effect in multiplayer.
Pretty interesting about the gas leak too, that could make for some interesting scenarios..just not in LTK though. |

Apparently I misunderstood what you said about the plastique. I was playing around with a couple friends on Archives, with a pretty random weapon set that included a "plastique" (currently with knife model) spawn near some boxes of throwing knives. I told them that the plastique was essentially a placeholder since I had no way of throwing it. Sometime way later in the match, one of them happened to detonate a remote mine near the plastique spawn, and well, now Archives is no more.
I like how the explosion is segregated to just a portion of the map, so you can actually fight in areas around it and attempt to lead people/shoot them into the flames. |
