| How do i go about changing the Breifing for my mission?I see the breifing and text editor but im not really writing it my self.What do i need to do?? |

| Briefing is part of setup, and the text is associated with it but a different file. You have to inject the text into ROM and then use digits in briefing and in level to it. |

So what your saying is text and breifing is not needed for a level....that i can leave it and not touch it......

Iv tried changing the briefing but just not getting luck.I go to tools edit Briefing and i just cant edit them.I heard from someone i had to export then i can write it but that seems a little..............

| Text changes are in text editor id that's issue. |

Briefing is what i need...iv been looking around see the * im trying to type my custom briefing background all that but just dont know how.

When i hit Export File Text uncompressed i save it[overwrite it]and i get an error saying it cannot write file.Why is this?

| You mean in text editor? Briefing should be a binary file. |

Yes i am on the Text editor,reading guide that i must first do that,then go do briefing.

I changed the name to lpete.bin to lpetetext.bin when i go to look for it i cant find it,and i believe thats why cause i added text in the name.But as i said if i try to overwrite it i get an error which i dont know why.

Well,i managed to get paste the error,did conversion [which seems like i did it right]i saved the Lpete.bin,Ubrief and the setup,i went to check if i had done it correctly and nothing i wrote/edited had shown up on briefing,i even checked the watch and it crashed.[as it always does if text no modified]
What in the world happened this time,what did i do?????
