For some reason the glass will not stay where i put it in the editor, yet it always appears inline when i view it in the editor, any idea what might be causing this if i should move this makeshift glass elsewhere?

Is it a weird rotation or bitflags? I do admit the editor is not 100% if certain flags are on, but it's pretty decent. You will have to move in editor and test ingame, even though looks wrong.

What i end up doing is i set the object much closer or further depending were it is.Also increase more in size then what you see.

What bitflags might effect this?
Align Glass to preset, In air rotated 90 degree upside down x to preset bounds, y to preset bounds, area behind door not visible are the only ones i have set

Im not to sure on that but,usually its if its in air.But im still new to making levels you can say.....

Those all could be doing it. If you Insert Special Object -> Glass I think those look right ingame.

I did insert special object glass, I have moved it behind that wall and it still appears out there?

Guess it's not appearing right in editor, I got most of flags right, but something must be missed there. You'll have to place and then test ingame until it works. Do they look right in any of Rares levels? Can copy from there.

There is no glass there in any of Rares levels. Maybe it is just that location? Might just try move that server elsewhere then, see if it works there. Pity had a nice little plan for that area, guess it just ain't meant to be Sad

No NO its not the location And its not the tags.Iv been testing.You added special glass.Special Items like the safe and the door of the safe are not exactly were they are in editor.
Iv tried this and its true.What a recommend is just keep playing around with the size and spot of the preset.Or just turn it to regular glass and not a special glass.

I mean copy glass from another level to yours and see if same spot editor and ingame.

Regular glass? Is there any way to do that without having to make the glass again?

I will try copy in some glass from elsewhere and see if that helps ^^ thanks guys

Some were in the editor i think theres convert to 27 preset and convert to 00 preset.

Open a level. See one that's positioned perfectly. Right click copy. Open your level. Right click paste. Then move around

I copy and pasted some of rares glass and it stayed exactly where i put it in the editor, though i have not re sized it yet. I then tried to apply the same bitflags to my glass as the one from rares level but got the same result as always, maybe it is the size of the glass causing the problem.
If not then I am using rare's glass from now on.
Edit: It worked now ^^ all fixed up and ready to go
