Hi everyone, I know it is possible to do, but was wondering if anyone here would be kind enough as to make a custom weapon set rom. We don't know who, but as of lately there was a magnums rom that surfaced and we're not too sure who created it. It just has a weapon set that features only magnums, as well as being able to play all multiplayer stages in 3 or 4 player matches, with Caves having a different design to make the stage appear brighter and different textures.
The people that play online would be eternally grateful if someone could create for us, a new rom with some of the custom weapon sets as follows :
All PP7's or Bond's Choice - Silenced or non, I'm not that picky
All Snipers - Just sniper rifles
All Shotguns - featured in NPGA, just automatic shotguns
Beast Mode - ZMG, D5K, KF7, Phantom and either AR-33, RCP-90 or Klobb (preferably weapons with high rate of fire, but cannot shoot through doors or windows)
True Power Weapons - Cougar Magnum, AR-33, RCP-90 and Silver PP7 (pretty much any weapon that CAN shoot through doors or windows)
More pistols - PP7, DD44, Cougar Magnum, Silver PP7 and Golden Gun
Power pistols - Cougar Magnum and Silver PP7
All Silenced - PP7, D5K and sniper rifle
Assault - ZMG, D5K, AR-33, KF7 and auto shotgun

If you grab the editor, it's pretty easy to do in 21990 yourself, to your own perfection. |

I don't mind undertaking this. May take a wee bit of time with a list like that hmmmmm wonder if I could throw in a surprise too ;D tank rounds anyone?
BY THE WAY*** It would be a MASSIVE undertaking to remove or add clipping to all multi levels for your uuuummmm shoot through stuff request. That can only be controlled with clipping. Sub am I lying bro or is there another option? _________________

Clipping has nothing to do with wall impacts.
Bullets impact on line-of-sight. Thrown objects are handled entirely differently.
The number of objects a gun can shoot through is a feature of that weapon and can be customized in the editor.
To fire through walls is an entirely different undertaking. To permit all objects to ignore wall impacts you could rebuild the rooms so all geometry is in the second file, then use a stub in the first so the thing isn't ignored. Otherwise, you'd need to write custom code to ignore impacts altogether (like they did in PD). _________________ (\_/) Beware

Can you even acquire Tank rounds as ammunition in multiplayer under normal means? I thought that type was beyond the limit the game has set for ammo boxes in multi. You may only be able to pick up the "gun" prop, which could give you one round each time. _________________

You can adjust the amount in the editor. Currently I have it set at around 20 rounds. I'll be releasing the final version of this sometime this week  _________________

I also didn't think you could pick up tank rounds from the ammo boxes, whether can control in editor or not. The ammo boxes don't go that high. |

You can accumulate up to 20 rounds but I'm still testing whether the ammo amount will work yet Finishing the weather MOD for PD today then probably going to finish the weapons for GE _________________

I think an old member named PaD created that custom weapon set tool ages ago. It was a pretty neat way to instantly spit out GameShark codes. Saves you a lot of time rather than dealing with it manually. _________________

True but with the increasing rarity of good gamesharks an emulator mod will sure come in handy if it comes down to extinction Man maybe some japanese gameshark fanatic will revive these devices and start a refurb company  _________________

If only I knew about this when I was doing weapon mods with GS codes, would have saved TONS of time. |
