Hmmmmm well for some God forsaken reason I can't get the editor to quick inject or rom write a level idea I had. It simply loads its default multi settings EVEN IF after I tried using a solo setup to overwrite it. Maybe I maxed out the rom's abilities with too many patches?
Maybe something happened when I saved my Multiplayer Extended ROM to my hardrive. Everything worked perfectly until I decided to fill in some new levels |

When you say new level, you pick Ump_facilityZ or whatever instead of the solo? |

it's weird. I'm completely stumped. I started to work on this level like the other 50 levels I've done but for some reason when you quick inject FACILITY's solo setup with a modded one it just loads the default in multiplayer. It's like it won't change the rom tables now for some reason. It LOADS just not the level I added stuff too. |

I haven't used the quick inject method in a while so perhaps I'm missing something.
When you start a new project you have to select the level/setup you want to replace. If you want to do Facility multi you choose Ump_setuparkZ.bin (third on the list), and if you want to do Faciliy solo then you choose UsetuparkZ.bin (in the middle of list).
It's the same with other maps that are both solo and multi. When the file starts as "Ump_setup" it's for multiplayer; and if it starts with "Usetup" it's a solo mission.
If you are using the 21990 menu to inject the custom files be sure to replace the right files. |
