I was wondering.... How would one add a midi to goldeneye. I have a midi file that is a different piece music and I'd like to change CAVERNS default track to the one I have for a SECRET level I'm doing |

Compose your music using the GoldenEye soundfont on this site. If you have an existing midi, you'll need to use a tool to edit the instruments to use good GoldenEye ones. This tutorial seems to show how to edit that:
http://www.rarewarecentral.com/?q=miditutorial
Then in Tools->21990 in your rom, under Model Details tab, choose the music you want to replace, then click Replace Midi with .mid. If you want it to loop, check "Loop midi import" before importing. Then write ROM. You are limited to 0x1800 bytes for a level track, 0x1000 for xtrack, and 0x800 for watch music, I think. |
