Two months ago, I've been working on making Perfect Dark hack in GoldenEye 007. So far, when I add objects from PD to GE, they work perfectly on some of them, but when I import bodies or heads to GE, the body glitches and for the head, it causes the game to not function.

You'll have to get the final word from Sub, Wreck or Zoinkity on that one...but I'm actually amazed it works as well as it does!! Good going! _________________ No Mr. Bond, I expect you to be re-coded! |

My guess is that PD's body are slightly bigger than GE. But you can ignore me on this matter because I haven't really fiddled with PD. _________________ www.youtube.com/gamerrey23 |

Count yourself lucky, the auto-porter is quite a bit better than it used to be :p
I believe the issue in the auto-port is the hierarchy is off from PD to GE, but it's close. It seems to be missing a part from PD that is used.

The heads are a little different between games, too. If you use a character and look up/down in each game, you'll see how they angle (especially into their own chests) has changed. This was from how the necks and heads are handled. It's something like the head is higher and further back in one game, but lower and more forward in another.
A good example was the original release of GoldenEye X. The body used for James Bond (the dinner jacket) was the same updated version from Perfect Dark, and not ported from GE007 like the later releases would feature. Brosnan's head, ported as-is, didn't sit on the neck properly. It floated above the neck, and needed to be lowered down and shifted forward or back a bit. I imagine any character from PD into GE007 would have the opposite effect.
SubDrag had to alter the necks on each of the PD character bodies left in GoldenEye X (Joanna Combat, CI Soldier, and dD Shock Trooper) in order for normal GE heads to fit onto them, and I shifted their matching heads so they'd sit in GoldenEye bodies correctly. It's a pain, but that's only for combining things from the two games. A full character ported from one game to the other works fine, so long as it is done right. I've only done Jo Combat, Cassandra, Trent, and Mr. Blonde. Haven't released the patch yet, however. _________________
