The older version you would start also in a courtyard but you would have to choose if you wanted to infiltrate frome the garage or the front door.
They were also supposed to be another escape route to the second courtyard
you could take.
That was scrapped because i didnt think anyone would take it.
The layout also changed making the level more linear than before
I did that because i wanted to keep my first level simple thats also why i scrapped the garage.
The laboratory also wasnt finished as you can see in this picture

The original starting area with the garage.
The level was called Brickyard at this point

Inside the garage

The new starting area more simple

There was orginally going to be a cutscene where you would see bond escape through the forest. That was scrapped because i didnt konw how to split it up in to rooms. I lost motivation in trying to figure out how to get the portals to work.
Am a little sad it didnt make it in but maybe i can use it in a another custom level

Exceptional work!

What software are you using for editing? I've become pretty good at mapping so can help guide you through to how split rooms, setup clipping, and do portals etc.

Great to see it released! And, really cool seeing the development insight. I'm still no good at downsizing my projects, probably why I don't finish anything.

Love seeing the progress as it changed over time.
Its a shame we didn't get the forest area in but I think the level looked great as it was on released.

I use DeleD to model my levels its old and limited but its very easy to make models.
I appreciate your offer to help but right now im just glad its done so i can work on other projects.
this level could well have been cancelled because my lack of experience.
So thats why i scapped the forest area it became too complicated for me
