X is normal. It just means I never did the decompression for that type, because it's one of the greyscale types, so it puts an X instead.

Carrington Institute was failing until I realized I had the wrong setup/pads. It should be fixed in the latest editor installer.

I am able to open up AirBase successfully (though wow it takes a while), and wow, does it look spectacular. OK, Villa CS actually doesn't load, probably used the wrong file.

Figured out villa cs! Messed up the levelmacros.ini file. (it's updated in the pd installer if you delete the pdfiles dir and your levelmacros.ini and install it again.

Please change this line:
pdsetup=C:\GoldeneyeStuff\GE Editor Source\PDFiles\villacs\villa_cs_bgcomp.bin

to

pdsetup=C:\GoldeneyeStuff\GE Editor Source\PDFiles\villacs\Ump_villaZ.bin

Any other levels messed up? Air Base should be ok, just big.

Okay, I believe I've tried every level.
Here are the ones that I had trouble with...

Crashes immediately
Institute (Carrington Institute - Defense)
Villa Multi (Combat Simulator): FIXED

Crashes during load in Visual Window
AirBase (Air Base)

No ROM Found
Fortress (Combat Simulator) ---- LOADS FROM SOURCE FOLDER
Sewers (Combat Simulator) ---- LOADS FROM SOURCE FOLDER

Incorrect / Missing Setup File
Defection (dataDyne - Defection)

In Defection, everything loads up at the top of the Lucerne Tower, and over and above the rest of the city. Seems like this could be either setup file or BG file related, though more likely the former. But still, it is possible that the rooms are all shifted somehow. Hell, it could even be the wrong setup file. Kind of hard to judge.

*since editing the ROM line in the levelmacros.ini for Fortress and Sewers, they both loaded.

Defense was looking at the wrong setup file but should be fixed in the latest rar. Also, I fixed the link to Sewers and Fortress ROM, messed that one up. Air Base does it crash for anyone else? Defection is the right file according to Krijy's doc, but I remember it is stored a lot of times in the ROM. Are we using the wrong one? I remember from the PD setup days that there were a ton of these, all minorly different.
